The alliance creates a cost-effective, efficient system that integrates and simplifies management tasks while giving employees transparency into payroll, time, attendance, and other administrative matters.
Heartland is a Fortune 500 company that enables business owners to focus on their daily operations, growing their business without worrying about paperwork and administration. It provides a robust human capital management system using proprietary software.
The partnership includes Heartland Payroll+, a secure online platform that integrates workforce management activities, including payroll, hiring, time tracking and human resources. Employees can use it to view their pay stubs, 1099s or W-2s and update personal data with a self-service app. The system tracks employee shifts, time-off requests, and overtime expenses from one dashboard. Hiring managers can view job postings, applications, and interviews in one convenient spot and complete new-hire onboarding electronically.
Starpoint Brands and UFG chose to work with Heartland because the firm will offer an easy transition from the current payroll and human-resource systems. Heartland also offers a single interface and a mobile application for management on the go.

The program will be managed by Randy Pumputis, Heartland’s Payroll Business Development Director. Pumputis has over 25 years’ experience in the payroll/human resources industry, including the past 13 years focusing on associations, franchises, and partnerships.
